Why do Bengals cost so much?

In addition to the rarity, beauty, and uniqueness, raising a healthy and fully domesticated Bengal is a wonderful undertaking yet quite costly. Responsible Bengal breeders invest time, money, and research into their furry family. In most scenarios, breeding Bengals is not a highly profitable business venture. Breeding Bengals is about passion, love, and sometimes heartbreak.

Mothers to be

There is nothing more fulfilling than playing matchmaker to a loving family and a Bengal. Here at Mother of Bengals, we take pride in our responsibility as a TICA certified cattery.

The charts depict some of the cost/time associated with raising a Bengal to maturity as a responsible breeder/cattery. There may be additional commitments missing and every cattery may operate differently.

At Mother of Bengals, we understand the growing problem of the increasing population of rescue cats. Choosing to find homes to the Bengal cat which some may see as a superficial desire is a label we do not take lightly.  Bengals and all cats are not just eye-candy, rather, eternal souls that are experiencing this journey called life with us human beings.
